General

Can I register 2 or more siblings in the same class?

Yes! Family members or friends can be registered in the same lesson. Our semi-private and group classes are limited to a maximum of three swimmers.

What is the price per lesson?

Our pricing is based on weekly swim lessons, with the convenience of the same day and time each week, starting at $45 per lesson. Visit our pricing page for full details.

Summer lessons

Our summer swim lessons are a great opportunity to learn with Inspired Swim. We offer special camps with some being weekly or daily designed to help you plan your child’s summer of activities.

Do you teach different swim levels in the same class?

We can accommodate this in some scenarios. Please connect with a team member to see if this option will work for you.

Can parents come onto the deck?

Yes. Absolutely and we encourage it! Please limit to 1 parent per class when you can.

Are your instructors certified?

Yes. All of our instructors are Certified Swim Instructors through the LifeSaving Society. Many of our instructors also have additional certifications including their Lifesaving Certification and National Lifeguard Certification.

Will my swimmer be joined with another family?

We will not add swimmers to your class. It is your private swim class to enjoy. Group lessons are designed for family members or family friends to combine into one lesson.

Do you have more than one location?

YES – We have 16 locations in British Columbia and growing!

Locations in Burnaby, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Langley, South Surrey, Maple Ridge, Mission, Abbotsford and Chilliwack!

What age can my child start taking lessons?

Our instructors are trained to work with children starting at 2.5 years old who are fully toilet-trained.

Can a parent join a little ones swim class?

Parents are welcome to join if it best supports their child’s learning.

Will there be other swimmers in the pool during my lesson?

Most of our pools are shared environments. If your swimmer requires a completely private experience, please contact our team directly.

How do I receive my child's report card?

All report cards can be found at our secure website here. All you need is your child’s first and last name to access their report card in a paperless, dry and convenient way.

Do you donate to any causes?

Yes, We are proud to say that a portion of every swim lesson is donated to Children’s Hospital.

What program does Inspired Swim follow? Is it the same program offered at my local pool?

We follow the LifeSaving Society Swim for Life Program, which is typically offered by all municipalities through their programming. We teach Preschool 1 through Swimmer 6 levels, and your child will be provided with a report card indicating swim level upon completion of their swim set.

How do I enroll myself or my kids in lessons?

Click “Register Now,” fill out the form and one of our team members will contact you to complete your registration.

Can I makeup lessons if I miss a lesson?

We are unable to accommodate make-up lessons. Please do your best to attend all the lessons in your set.

What is the cancellation policy?

We require a minimum of two weeks’ notice prior to the start of your swim set to issue a full refund. Cancellations made between one and two weeks before the start date will qualify for a 50% refund. Unfortunately, no refunds will be provided for cancellations made less than one week before the swim set begins.

When do my lessons renew?

Lessons are purchased in 4-week interval packages and auto-renewed for another 4 weeks following completion of the last lesson in that 4-week interval period. This ensures your day/time selection is maintained.

Can I pause my lessons?

Swimmers are allowed to pause their lessons for up to one month once per year, with a minimum of 30 days’ notice. During this pause, their scheduled swim day and time will remain reserved for when they resume. 

When are lessons offered?

Our lessons are scheduled in sets. We offer Spring, Summer, Winter, and Fall sets, as well as shorter Spring Break, Summer Break and Winter Holiday Camps. When booking, you select your preferred day and time, and lessons are held weekly at that same time throughout the set.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards.

Do you accept alternative funding sources from government and not-for-profit organizations?

We will do our best to accept approved alternative funding sources. Please reach out to a member of our team to enquire further.

Will my swimmer get a report card?

Yes. A Swimgen report card will be issued for each swimmer under a membership.
