General

Can I register 2 or more siblings in the same class?

Yes – absolutely! This is how you take advantage of our group discounts. We limit group sizes to a maximum of 3 per group.

What is the price per lesson?

All our prices are based on a monthly membership starting from $219/month/person for a 30-minute private 1:1 lesson scheduled weekly and guaranteed for the same day/time slot.

If you are a non-member, lessons start from $60 for a private 30 minute 1:1 lesson. Visit our pricing page for more information.

You can also add your child’s friends into class together to access discounted membership prices.

Summer lessons

Our summer swim lessons are a great opportunity to learn with Inspired Swim. We offer special camps with some being weekly or daily designed to help you plan your child’s summer of activities.

Do you teach different swim levels in the same class?

Yes. We can combine most swim levels in 1 class (especially where there is only 2 swimmers per class)

Can parents come onto the deck?

Yes. Absolutely and we encourage it! Please limit to 1 parent per class when you can.

Are your instructors certified?

Yes. All our instructors are Red Cross Certified and transitioned to Life Saving Instructor as of January 2023.

Will my swimmer be joined with another family?

We will not add swimmers to your class. It is your private swim class to enjoy. Group lessons are designed for family members or family friends to combine into one lesson.

Do you have more than one location?

YES –We have 18 locations in British Columbia and growing!

Burnaby, Coquitlam, Como Lake, Port Coquitlam, Langley, South Surrey, Delta, Maple Ridge, East Maple Ridge, Whonnock (Maple Ridge), Mission, Duncan, Abbotsford, and Chilliwack!

What is the best age to start swimming lessons?

We believe 30 months is the best time to start swimming lessons. At this time we are only teaching children 30 months and older, however we do make exceptions for children that are potty trained.

Can a parent join a little ones swim class?

Yes but we prefer the swimmer builds the trust with the instructor rather than having the parent in the water.

Is the pool private for our Inspired Swim swimmers only?

Yes – Most of our locations are private pools and you will be the only swimmers in the pool.
We do have some locations that have 2 lessons going on at once.
No – Our Coquitlam and Burnaby locations are in a shared pool environment.

How do I receive my child's report card?

All report cards can be found at our secure website Swimgen url

All you need is your child’s first and last name . Must be in the format Jane Doe. Very easy, paperless, dry and convenient.

Do you donate to any causes?

Yes, We are proud to say that a portion of every swim lesson is donated to Children’s Hospital.

Membership

How do I become a member?

You can signup and pay online here or text or call us at 236-326-SWIM (7946).

Can I makeup lessons if I miss a lesson?

The membership offering allows for greater flexibility whereas with min 72 hours notice you can cancel your lesson and have that lesson available to reschedule in the next 60 days at any pool and time available

What is the membership cancellation policy?

Your membership can be canceled at any time with 30 days notice. Note that any available swim credits from missed or cancelled lessons would be forfeited.

When does my membership renew?

Memberships run from the date that you sign up so if you join on the 12th of the month your next payment is the 13th of following month

Can I pause my membership?

Yes. You can pause your membership anytime but you lose your guaranteed spot.

Can I bring a friend to lessons?

Yes. As a member you get 2 bring a friend passes (max 3 kids to your lesson) per year (1 week’s notice required)

When are my lessons?

Guaranteed weekly swim lessons for the life of your membership are based on the first lessons booked day and time. If you wish to change the scheduled day/time, please reach out to our team to determine availability. Email info@inspiredswim.com or text 236-326-SWIM (7946)

What forms of payment do you accept for membership?

Our primary payment method is credit card, however we will also accept payment by e-transfer.

Will my swimmer get a report card?

Yes. A Swimgen report card will be issued for each swimmer under a membership.
